General Admission Requirements
 Admission requirements vary by program but generally include the following:

Doctoral Programs
  • Master's degree (some programs allow entry with a bachelor's degree)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Professional references

Tuition
 Tuition varies by program but is comparable to that of other universities online. The total cost of your program will depend on transfer of credit and your time to completion. Times to Completion
 Ph.D.: Most Ph.D. students earn their degree in 4.5 years or less
Ed.D.: 3 years
Master's Degree: 15 to 24 months
Bachelor's Completion: 15 to 27 months

Transfer of Credit
 You are permitted to transfer credits from other institutions that are accredited regionally or by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Walden also recognizes credits earned through several professional associations. Each program has transfer of credit maximums and time limits to ensure that you benefit from the most up-to-date knowledge in your field.
